SoL Sidewalk Sale

One of my favorite sales every summer is SoL Denver’s Sidewalk Sale.  If you are lucky enough to be in Denver from Wednesday, July 21 – Sunday, July 25, don’t miss it.  For me the highlight is the knickers bonanza -bins & bins of designer pants all for under $20 each.  In the past I’ve found Ravage, Chantal Thomas, Prima Donna, LeJaby, Aubade and more and all Hanky Panky thongs are only $13.  On Saturday they take an extra 20% off your purchase and on Sunday an extra 35% off (Hanky Panky is excluded).  The staff is extremely helpful but it’s also extremely busy so if you can’t make the sale but would like to contact them please take that into consideration.  (shown: Prima Donna Deauville).

I’m back from Denver and happy to report the SoL Lingerie Sale was fabulous, extremely popular and part of the Cherry Creek North 39th Annual Sidewalk Sale.  By the time I got there (Saturday afternoon) all knickers (except HankyPanky) were $16 and you got an extra 35% off, which was fantastic.  With the help of the lovely Kendall I also picked up the Lejaby Hot Couture plunge bra for only $65 (reg $130) -the fit surprisingly great and the DH adores it.   Sadly, I couldn’t find the matching knickers, but I made up for it by picking up these ( Lejaby’s Follement Sage, Lise Charmel’s Lilas Charm and Ravage’ Heritier) for a grand total of $33 (rrp. $305).

Like last year the lingerie bins (sorted by size) were loaded with designers like Marie Jo, Prima Donna, Lejaby, Ravage, Lise Charmel, Andres Sarda and this year, as an added bonus, they included rack of swimwear and loungewear.   If there was a downside to this wonderful sale it’s that I got there too late so the selection wasn’t as great and I wasn’t able to make it to Sunday’s wild card sale -they don’t open until noon on Sundays (darn that long drive back home).

Which sale was better March or July?  It’s impossible to say.  This year I had the chance to meet the wonderful Janelle Kenny and catch up a bit with Jade.  I also got to treated great customer service, beautiful weather and all of the sales during the Cherry Creek event, so despite not putting a major dent in my wallet, I had a truly an awesome time.  If you are in Dever or plan a visit, do yourself a favor and stop by: 248 Detroit St., Denver, CO. This weekend I visited Denver’s SoL lingerie during their Semi-Annual Sale -everything is 15% off online and amazing savings on previous season lingerie if you can make it into their shop or if you know what you want, give them a call. The lingerie bins (sorted by size) were loaded with designers like Marie Jo, Prima Donna, Audabe, Chantelle, Lise Charmel, Andres Sarda, Chantal Thomass and so much more. I found this Prima Donna Buenos Aires set (rrp. $250) now only $97 and all sale panties (some originally $150) were $12 including the Marie Jo Tadao. They even had the Josie Natori Couture hand embroidered, rich silk, short kimonos on sale for $637 (still pricey, but marked down from $1500), in either steel gray or black. If you are interested in these definitely call, there were only two available. The service is impeccable, my bra fitting was comfortable, they even have a seamstress who’ll adjust your band size free of charge ($10 for markdown/sale bras) so you get the perfect cup and band fit.
