Earlier this year we pointed you to the new online boutique, Fabulicious, who launched with some truly beautiful collections such as Miss La La Presents and Ophelia Fancy; as we knew there were promises of the fabulous Carmen Gonzalez joining the other gorgeous collections at Fabulicious, we’ve been keeping our eyes peeled. Finally the time has come and we’re delighted to announce the beautiful Gonzalez designs are now available at the Pink-tastic online store!

Carmen Gonzalez, who hails from Gran Canaria has always impressed us with her lingerie; her frilly, girly designs and triangle bras are simple yet beautiful, her structured and more ‘complex’ designs, ultra glamorous. It is the latter we are most impressed with in Carmen’s current collection; the Irma La Douce collection, inspired by the same-named comedy by Billy Wilder, is just stunning and combines beautifully coloured silks with subtle stripes, embroidery and understated bows. The ‘cut-out’ vintage style knickers give the whole look such incredible sex appeal we’re thinking of ways we can show them off at the next office party without being reprimanded!

Perhaps a fondness for pink, sparkly things is inherent in all females – we just think we’re too grown up and shouldn’t admit it! When our eyes are drawn to something spectacularly pink and it produces ‘Oohs’ and ‘Aahs’, we realise, however, we’ve never quite got away from loving girly, cute stuff, especially when lingerie is involved. Fabulicious, a new online Boudoir Boutique, has now given us a license to look at bows and frills, surrounded by the odd puppy, and pink, puffy, wish-making clouds, without us feeling like we should be making ‘I’m-buying-this-for-my-niece’ excuses…

With a stunningly eye-catching logo, Fabulicious have managed to merge fun girliness with serious sexiness; after the welcoming Moulin Rouge-esque image and an Aladdin’s lamp to make all our wishes come true, we are transported through a fabulous journey of gorgeously sexy lingerie. With often hard-to-find labels such as Ophelia Fancy and Miss Lala Presents, Fabulicious is one of those online Boutiques it’s hard to tear yourself away from. Firm favourites like Mimi Holiday, Carol Maloney and Playful Promises are also to be found, along with Maya Hansen whose corsets are some of the most beautiful on the market, and we can’t wait for the Carmen Gonzalez lingerie to arrive!

An exciting new label has launched this week, backed by one of the most well-known boutiques in the British lingerie industry. Fina Rees, co-proprietress of the famous Miss La La’s Boudoir in London, has created her own new lingerie label: the coquettish Miss La La Presents.

Miss LaLa’s boudoir is well known for its frilly, girly style, fabulous vintage jewellery, and general celebration of anything ultra-feminine. Miss LaLa Presents continues that girly celebration, offering up sugary-sweet designs in a decidedly luxurious package – this isn’t just forgettable, pretty frocks; this lingerie takes “lala” very seriously indeed.

We love the little details of this freshman LaLa collection – the ruched silk trim on the knickers, the beautifully pleated suspender belt (and even pleated bows!), and the stunning embroidered silk. Even with the retro vibe, LaLa is designed for the modern girl – the knickers are low-rise and feature the popular boyshort style heavily. The whole collection just leaves you wanting more – once you’ve seen what Miss LaLa has to offer, you want to replace your entire knicker drawer with her frilly concoctions.

Miss LaLa Presents will be available at Harvey Nick’s from 4th December, and of course, at Miss LaLa’s Boudoir itself. The prices are surprisingly affordable – a typical bra is £60 and the knickers are £40. The collection wll be available at the Boudoir site once it becomes available. With such a strong first collection, we simply can’t wait to see what Miss LaLa does next!
