Sparkle and Simmer with I.D. Sarrieri’s new collection

We adore I.D. Sarrieri. This brand, created from the ashes of a 55-year-old lingerie company in Bucharest, Romania, is all about creating refined, luxurious, and simply stunning lingerie. The styling is reminiscient of La Perla, but with a slightly less traditional, more modern and colourful edge — perfect for younger women who aren’t too keen on the older Italian brands, but still want something really luxurious. This brand has traditionally been a bit hard to find, but we’re delighted to see that US-based boutique Nancy Meyer is stocking a large part of the collection online, so now everyone can indulge in these exquisite pieces!

Our favourite piece from the new collection is this bold “Chicago Diamonds” triangle bra set (pictured above), which manages to be both outlandish and ladylike at the same time. The delicate chantilly lace adds the refined appeal, but the carelessly scattered Swaroski crystals create all the drama. The bra is available for $270 (ouch!) at Nancy Meyer.

We’d love to point out our second favourite piece, but there are too many to decide from! This smouldering red lace set is perfect if you are looking for a romantic look, or if you’re looking for something more dramatic, this teal and chocolate brown set is really unforgettable. I.D. Sarrieri’s signature seems to be beautiful use of lace, and these two “Fatal Attraction” bras in black and pale blue show off the lace beautifully.
