‘Seduction Apparel’ from Modern Courtesan

We’ve got another shiny new label for you, gentle reader, and it’s a hot one. UK-based label Modern Courtesan started with a simple premise: why does dressing up for the bedroom have to be so trashy? Can’t we be naughty nurses in silk, instead of PVC? As an answer, Modern Courtesan has created their very own ‘Seduction Apparel,’ 100% silk and very seductive.

Modern Courtesan’s first collection comes in three flavours – ‘Do Disturb’, ‘Sex in the City’, and ‘Spalicious’. Our favourite is the bright Spalicious, which features an amazing nurse outfit (pictured above left) that looks like it was plucked out of a glossy music video. “Do Disturb” is a twist on the naughty French Maid look, and Sex in the City (pictured above right) has a classy, Manhattan feel to it. All of the pieces beautifully toe the line between sexy and sensual – there’s nothing trashy about these costumes.

Modern Courtesan’s site is set to go live this May, but in the meantime you can take a sneaky peek at the collection and pick out your favourite sets. The label will be stocked in London boutique Secrets of the Boudoir, and we’ll keep you updated on other stockists (hopefully online!). Until then, we can dream!
