Product Review: Melbourne Bra
February 28, 2006 by Danae

Palila has weighed in with her second review in our product review series, this time it’s the Melbourne Sports Bra, available at Title Nine for $32:
I ordered Moving Comfort’s Melbourne Bra from Title Nine Sports, and it arrived several days before expected.
From the outside, the Melbourne Bra looks like your classic compression sports bra, but it’s what’s inside that counts. The inner layer not only is made of wicking material to keep the fabric closest to the skin dry, it also has structure to provide some shaping and extra support, especially in the sides. Another first, I’ve never had a bra that was more than just a compression bra, so I was extremely pleased with how well and how much the inner structure contributed to keep the girls in place during a jump-filled workout. Really, they hardly moved at all. (Of course, by the end of the jumps I wasn’t moving much, either.) The top seams of the bra lay in front of and behind the top of my shoulder; the straps don’t have the opportunity to dig in at those points. They also have different edge seams in the top of the straps so they lay flat against my shoulders instead of riding up my neck, like many racerback sports bras tend to do. Moving Comfort combined comfort and support for an all-around great bra.
Though this bra is made for medium-breasted women (B/C cup), Moving Comfort also makes bras specifically for smaller-, medium- and larger-breasted women, taking into account the specific needs of each range. Title Nine Sports allows you to search for bras by cup size or by desired level of support (and carries bras for up to DDD cups), and this bra lands well with in the three-barbell/high-impact rating and comes in a variety of colors
