I have to confess — I don’t normally wear Freya. It’s a great brand for larger-cup sizes, but i always found it a bit too young, too kooky to suit my style. But this Spring/Summer season, Freya has managed to add a chic twist to their colourful style and create a great-looking collection, our favourite being Yasmin.
First of all, the bra looks great – the nude mesh with a floral print blends right into your skin, and the purple accents are sparse enough to not overpower the bra. It also has a great fit – my regular bras were getting a bit stretched, and there was a noticeable re-perkification once i put this one on. I found with this bra you should buy a band that’s quite tight in the dressing room — after a few days of wear it will loosen up, but not too loose to lose support.
The set is very practical — the bra stays comfortable through a long work day, and is smooth enough to wear under those thin Gap tees I love so much. Similarly, the matching boyshorts are generously cut and look great, even on a non-model figure like mine.
Really, I just love this set. The colours are great, it’s comfy, and I feel pretty when i spy the purple strap on my shoulder. If you’re on the prowl for a pretty, comfortable set, this one is worth a look.
