Gorgeous Retro Swimwear from Norma Kamali

Many thanks to Faire Frou Frou for introducing us to Norma Kamali and her incredible retro-inspired swimwear! Kamali has taken “retro” well beyond the normal pinup styling and has gone Vogue-cover glam with her beautiful pieces – her concoctions are sexy, classic and simply beautiful.

Our favourite is the classic white jersey swim dress (above center, $350), but the incredible black mesh halter suit (above left, $350) has to be a close second. Both pieces evoke a poolside sex appeal that has little to do with showing off skin and more to do with showing off impeccable taste. The strapless suit (above right, $350) shows off one of the many colours Kamali offers for her suits — as well as olive, her suits are available in shades like pink, red, cinder, animal prints, polka-dots, and even more.
