Montelle Intimates: Canadian ‘Fashion Basics’

Toeing the line between comfort and breathtaking design is a challenge for all designers, and we’re always delighted when we see a collection that’s not only beautiful, but also practical enough to wear in everyday life. Canadian designer Montelle Intimates has done just that, with their line of lovely “Fashion basics.”

To Montelle, “Fashion Basics” means spotting trends and creating fresh looks, but without compromising wearability for the woman. To that end, they’ve created a line of sleek functional bras, and a seasonal collection of loungewear and bra sets. The sets pictured above show their style well, but we just had to show you one more:

Isn’t that just lovely? It’s simple, would look great under a blazer, it’s sexy, and looks soft enough to slide right across your skin. They’ve managed to make a woman look good and feel good all at once, a difficult thing to achieve. The whole feel of this label reminds us of luxury label Eres and their simple, luxe style — lucky for us, Montelle’s pieces are considerably more affordable, if equally hard to find.

At the moment, we can only find one Montelle Intimates set for sale online — it’s the lace chemise pictured at the top (in rose or in black), and is $85 (available to US-only).
