We thought Marlies Dekkers was unstoppable last year, however she has surpassed herself once more by winning the CILA Award for best Maternity Lingerie earlier this year and last night was given the Marie Claire Prix De La Mode Award for best fashion entrepreneur 2008. Marlies, who now has shops all over the world, is best known for her signature ‘strappy’ designs, quirky prints and beautifully-made lingerie and swimwear. We know Marlies will not stop here, and we can’t wait to see what amazing creations she’ll come up with next!
