Lingerie from the other Big Apple: Susila Tantrik in Buenos Aires
March 5, 2007 by Danae

We love finding a beautiful new brand from different parts of the globe, and instantly fell in love with a latin treasure from Buenos Aires: Susila Tantrik lingerie. Created by designer Giselle Schwerdtfeger, this label combines sunny Latin American colours and styles with a flirty twist of French flair. The results are fresh, romantic, and very very sexy.
There are some real treats in the latest Tantrik collection — the set pictured above is an indulgently frilly concoction of ruffles, but still remains chic and simplistic with its simple cut. The real treasure, however, is this amazing 60′s babydoll featuring bright white polka-dots — in fact, let’s just have a look at it here:

Isn’t that just fabulous? Throw on a pair of hotpants and a beach bag and she’s off to the beach. Put a mini-skirt on that girl and slick back her hair, she’s on the streets of Paris. Either way, we’re jealous.
Not only that, but the Tantrik range has a whole collection of basics in both black and white, showing simple doesn’t have to be boring at all. The basics line especially evoke a vintage French look, celebrating curves with fuller cuts and styles.
All this loveliness, so there has to be a catch, right? Of course there is — to get your mitts on all these treasures, you’ll need to take a wee side trip to Buenos Aires and visit the Susila Tantrik boutique. Luckily, all hope is not lost — the designer also worked at French-label I.C. Pearl, and you can get their collections around Europe, and at the Victoria’s Secret in Las Vegas. So if you’re dropping in on either Argentina or Sin City, you’re set! For everyone else, watch this space and we’ll keep our eye out for any more locations!
