Lace Me Up, Lace Me Down

Today’s lingerie can take cues from practically anywhere. Classic corsets and foundation garments likely add to our fascination with things that lace up. Here are two pieces that bring the idea of a lace up into a modern garment. On the left is something from Verde Veronica that I haven’t been able to find on sale yet. On the right are gorgeous stockings from La Perla known as “Audrey”. You can find them at Bare Necessities UK. I imagine that you would have to be very slim and very tall to make these work. It wouldn’t hurt to be rich either as this pair of stockings is £40.00 / $66.00.

In these daring pieces from Christina Stott, the lace up is incorporated in unique ways. Stott is a very exclusive designer and finding anything online from her is difficult. On the top is a lace up guepiere. This model makes it look very sensual, but it might be difficult to work with. The cups are removable if you feel like you a need another notch on the daring scale. Luxe Lingerie carries this piece for a whopping $275. If you have this body and a rich boyfriend, maybe it should go on the Christmas wish list.

On the lower left is a Christina Stott lace up girdle/suspender. The V split at the bottom of the girdle with a lace up feature is very cute. Again, you can find these at Luxe Lingerie in the US for $150.

On the lower right is the Christina Stott lace up knicker. This is really sexy and has the license to be. At Luxe Lingerie this is $110.

You can find this gorgeous Argentovio Boudoir set at Silk Storm. I love the back of the basque. It seems to have dozens of yard of ribbon. The string is needed because you will never find this color to match. The basque is £ 215.00 and the string is £ 40.00.
