I have my own petite bra problem. I am an athlete, and therefore do not have a lot of body fat, but a wider back. I have found that both Natori bras, and The Little Bra Company work for me. I wear anywhere between a 36AA in Wacoal, to a 36A in Natori. My favorite bra right now is the Natori Sheer scroll bra. It is a pretty t-shirt bra, that has convertible straps, and only lined cups. Highly recommend it if you are a like me:) http://www.aveclamour.com/lingerie-bras/natori-sh...

Thank for this article. It's very hard to find nice looking bras in smaller cups. Bralettes are not sexy in my eyes. There are so many bras available for sizes in the norm but for extreme (read small or large) it's hard. For smaller cup sizes, finding a bra without padding is very hard. Everyone talks about accepting your body, but when you really do, one cannot find a bra without padding.

Our customers who are a A/AA say that it is very hard to find bras which fit - especially if they are an under 10/32 back. We find many ladies who have been wearing size 10, despite being an 8 or 6, as that is all they can find. We have found a wonderful brand, The Little Bra Company, sizes 28-36, cups A & B only. Customers love their bras - pretty yet wearable for every day, and give a beautiful shape.

Those bras are so so pretty! I stock bras from an A to I cup but never understand why they don't do a 30 back in the A and B cups. That said we don't really get a lot of demand for them so maybe the designers find the same.

There's plenty of smaller bras out there in the UK with shops like Marks and Spencers starting their bra sizes at 28AA. If you're less than that then I think you're strictly into training bras I think. And to be honest I can't imagine how wonderful it'd be to not need to wear a bra! There's some lovely camisole tops that would provide the discreet cover a girl needs under thin clothes and they would be perfect!
Larger ladies have been catered for so magnificently in the mainstream now that perhaps it's time for designers to look across the size ranges again.

I hear your frustration Heidi; we do of course take into consideration those with small backs and larger cups - Freya in particular do small backs and larger cups, as do Curvy Kate.

here are a couple of links to Bravissimo (in the UK, but they will deliver to the US) and Figleaves US as well as Curvy Kate http://www.bravissimo.com/products/lingerie?back=... http://tinyurl.com/39nj9rz http://www.curvykate.com/

We hope this helps, but do let us know if you need anymore information - just drop us an email at thegirls@knickersblog.com

All I ever read about are small proportions and large proportions. No one ever writes about "What if you have both?" What if you have a size 28 frame but wear a size G cup? You don't find any stores in America that even cater to that. There might be some 30's out there, but they're just too darn big, and way too pricey for just a small piece of fabric. And then the looks you get when you tell the *sales associate* your size.
