Introducing Chanteuse

While Chanteuse isn’t completely new to the lingerie scene, the label is now spreading its beautiful wings and going online! Chanteuse is not your average luxury label, rather it takes its vintage-inpired designs one step further than we’ve seen before – we see twenties, thirties and forties with a stunning dash of Victorian decadence. The detailing is spectacular with tiny, silk-covered buttons, pleating, ruching and lace all playing a part in one gorgeous collection.
Chanteuse Belle Epoch

We adore the Belle Epoch jumper (above); stretch silk clings seductively, ruffles cuter than a kitten’s ears and nips, tucks and pearl buttons that all add up to make this one incredibly sexy piece. Hiding this away should be a crime and yet imagine this in a private boudoir scene, complete with cute shoes and a cheeky oops-I-dropped-it look!
Chanteuse Pin Up Shorts

When a collection can go from Josephine Baker to Victorian boudoir – and all with a fascinatingly contemporary touch – we’re going to be more than impressed. Suffice to say this label is going places and while those fabulous ruched shorts are a pin-up’s dream, it’s not only those that will find their way into any boudoir no matter what era or look is preferred – and that’s no mean feat.
Chanteuse is currently available at Dollhouse Bettie and will soon be available online at Chanteuse’s Online Boutique. Prices around $49.50-$200
