I've just bought my first pair of nipple tassels from a site called http://www.saumarez.co.uk/ Have a look in their accessories section. I took advantage of their old tie service where you send an old tie and they make it into a pair of tassels. I used my husbands old school tie that we found at my mother in laws! They are amazing! They also make lace tassels and silk ones and a pair of lepard print ones- which I think may well be my next purchase!

Don't forget – the original forms of nipple decorations were held in place by having the nipples pierced.
Harem slaves were 'decorated' in this way as a mark of ownership, but it also made their nipples more sensitive.
Rings or barbells were commonly worn through the nipples in Roman times and the practice was still popular in the day of Anne Boleyn, whose only surviving portrait shows a chain round her neck which mysteriously disappears under her dress, heading straight for her nipples.
In the early days of burlesque, tying tassels to the nipples allowed the famous 'twirling' action to be carried out, but the dancers quickly realised that having their nipples pierced would allow the tassels to be attached to rings, which gave a much smoother effect and was less painful.
Even famous jewellers like Aspreys made nipple decorations in Gold and encrusted with diamonds for the dancers.
When the obscenity laws changed to prevent them displaying the areola, many dancers attached their 'pasties' to the rings, rather than using glue.
It still works…

For some unknown reason, certain friends of mine threaten to buy me nipple tassels. Why, I am not sure.

One question, though. I am a 44DD (bordering on DDD) cup. My rack isn’t perky like any of the lingerie models shown. How on earth would I make nipple tassels look good on me?
