How do you fancy this dramatic lingerie?

Ophelia Fancy

Hot on the heels of our interview with burlesque performer Immodesty Blaize, we’ve found a fantastic new lingerie designer whose collections would look as amazing on the stage as in the boudoir. Ophelia Fancy is the label of Brighton graduates Stevi Jelbart and Emma Sandham-King, who have created a brand that is part costumery, part lingerie, and fully unique. This label blends Victorian waistcoats and naughty-nurse nipple pasties as though they were always meant to be together, and has re-interpreted everything from the sexy nurse look to the cheeky sailor. Our favourite piece is this amazing corset pictured above, which has borrowed just enough from the Victorian styling to create an opulent, other-worldly look.

Ophelia Fancy’s over-the-top stylings and ornate designs might not suit everyone, but if you’ve got a flare for the dramatic, this young label has created a look that is truly one of a kind. You can buy Ophelia Fancy through their own website, at their shop in London, or at She Said Boutique in Brighton. She Said will soon be stocking Ophelia online, so we’ll keep our eyes peeled for you!
