Hopeless Lingerie’s enchanting flower collection

Hopeless new collection

We were already pretty excited about hot new label Hopeless and their freshman black and white collection, but their sophomore effort has exceeded all expectations! Based on the singing flower gardens of Alice in Wonderland, the “Posie” collection is a modern take on romance, combining a simple palette of floral pinks with bold, black-framed geometric patterns. The effect is powerful and enchanting all at once.

It’s tough to pick a favourite from the collection, but we’re giving the award to the Lily Silk Garter Belt ($180, pictured above left). The contrast of the bold shapes and the wilting silk flowers is gorgeous, and the whole look has a languid-yet-powerful sexuality about it that could easily become Hopeless’s signature style.

We’re also in love with the Willow Camisole ($220, pictured above, center top), which captures the flower garden theme impeccably, and has the most dreamy, romantic look of the collection.

As the world rediscovers and re-defines the word “luxury” in light of an economic recession, we’re glad to see a label that brings true meaning to the word. If handmade to order, beautifully designed and utterly unique pieces like these aren’t worth saving up for, we just don’t know what is. Go and check out the full collection now!
