Holiday Haul Lingerie Reviews & Their Current Sales

As I’ve mentioned, between Black Friday and Valentine’s Day there were some great sales…too great for me to pass up. Here are just a few of the goodies I’ve purchase and my review of them.  And the best news is you can still get them at great sale prices (ok not as good as the holiday but not bad either).  I won’t be including my dressing gown reviews as it  requires at least a 2-part series, such is my  love for the glory of a good robe.

Made by Niki Shape Shorts

On Black Friday Made by Niki had the most amazing sale and since I already own a couple of pieces I knew I would not be disappointed.  All past season stock, and I mean all of it, sold for only £10 each.  The stunning long satin skirt, shape shorts, bras, bustiers, limited edition knickers  all £10 each.  I picked of the midnight blue satin shape short (sadly the long skirt I ordered -rrp.£200 had sold out, Niki did offer a replacement item tho’).  These shorts have everything!  They’re what beautiful, feather weight  shapewear is all about by making you feel and look beautiful and not utilitarian pieces to remind you of your imperfections.  Shown: The Lilac Shape Shorts still available for £24.50, rrp. £89.00.

Marlies Dekkers Halo Set

During the Maralisha Sale I was able to pick up the Marlies Dekkers Halo set for 80% off and it is divine.  I love M|D edgy designs and the fact that it is truly meant to be seen, so how could I resist.  The Halo range was inspired by Saint Agatha of Sicily and uses blue mesh and flock prints of halos and stars over a stunning sea green, then outlined in sienna brown and topped with a blue satin ribbon corset effect.   This range can still be found on sale  on Canadian site Almost Naked and Netherland site POL (both sites are up to 40% off).

Julianne Aimee Chemise

I was able to find Julianne’s signature Aimee Camisole for only $40 (rrp. $108).  It’s just like the chemise only shorter and without the bow.  It’s made of French leavers lace and bias cut silk satin for an extremely flattering fit.  It’s perfect for an evening in or out (I paired it with black velvet Harari pant) over the holidays and the red sheen made my skin glow.  Right now at Australian site Julianne Boutique they’re having a great sale and if you sign up for the free VIP newsletter you’ll receive a $40 voucher code good for anything on their site -including sales items like the Helena Dressing Gown in French Navy (rrp.
