Multi-national corporation ebay and even some of their beleaguered  sellers will have a great holiday season, for ebay buyers… not so much, more and more I see prices going well above retail.  It’s in ebay’s best interest that you pay retail or more -the more the item sells for the more commission they make, so to say the least research, research, research!  A lot of the lingerie and boudoir items sold on ebay can be found via the internet for less (i.e. Jimmyjane massage oil candles are close to full price on ebay but at the Jimmyjane website they’re more than 50% off). If you do plan on shopping ebay use search engines like Fat Fingers to uncover hidden treasures due to misspellings. It’s a brilliant site and their slogan is “Other peoples typos can save you money” says it all. Spend some time researching other sites. It’s as simple as Googling product name or checking places like  Amazon.com (both Lauren Silva and Gigi’s Closet have stock listed there). There’s Froogle searchable and browsable shopping index tuned to finding products on sale online. And of course feel free to ask us!
