Gorgeous legwear for those cold winter nights!

December 16, 2009 by Danae

The weather outside is getting frightful indeed, and we think it’s high time to stop worrying about gifts for a moment, and take care of our own frozen legs! Here are our favourite picks for keeping your pins warm and still looking great:

Wolford Merino Wool Leggings

Wolford Merino Wool Leggings
I’m a little obsessed with merino wool at the moment – it’s a perfect material that will keep you warm and cozy, but won’t leave you all sweaty and uncomfortable. I can highly recommend these stunning ribbed merino tights from Wolford. They are incredibly soft and cozy, but the fine ribbing makes them equally fashionable. I wear them to work, I wear them to bed, the only thing I need is another pair! You can get them for £29 at Tightsplease or $60 at Bloomingdales.

Anthropologie Legwear

Anthropologie Legwear
We love the sheer variety and imagination behind Anthropologie’s legwear collection, especially their Flashdance-inspired leg warmers (above left, £10). The crossed heart leggings (above, center, £30) are another particular favourite, as they bring back memories of every winter sweater worn as a kid – paired with a little white tunic, these would evoke a gorgeous wintery feeling! Finally, what better way to celebrate the snow than with the adorable decimal point tights (above right, £13;)? Those are just some teasers for the collection – you will find everything from stirrups to spat-printed knee socks at Anthropologie, so there is bound to be something to help you keep warm in style!

Wolford’s Fringe Tights

Finally, we couldn’t resist showing you these amazing fringe tights from Wolford, a limited edition pair that ticks all of our boxes for fashionable and functional. Pair these darlings up with your little black dress this Christmas party season, and you won’t need any more accessories! That’s probably for the best, as the tights will set you back £199. If that’s too rich for your blood but you are still craving the fringe, don’t worry – Bebaroque is to the rescue with their own pair of oh-so-gorgeous ‘Madison’ fringe leggings, a snip at £99.
