Fresh new brands from Be Cheeky this spring

Who would have thought it – lingerie retailer Be Cheeky has gone and grown up on us! When the site started it was a bit of a mixed bag: they only sold panties without any matching bras, and they mixed their high-end designer labels with lower-quality pieces. We had a long-standing love/hate relationship with the site, loving their wee gems but wishing they had even more exciting pieces.

It looks like wishes do come true, because we’re seeing some great stuff coming from Be Cheeky lately. They’ve maintained their fun, frilly image but have sourced some of the harder-to-find brands along the way. They’re also stocking a lot more bra sets, but still sourcing cute one-off knickers as well for girls who are happy with just the panties.

Jolidon “Lolita” Corset

First in Be Cheeky’s new lineup is Romanian designer Jolidon, a label not afraid of a splash of colour. This “Lolita” corset (pictured above left) is part naughty 50′s housewife, part naughty schoolgirl, and very very cute. If you find yourself gravitating towards the cheekier, frillier side of lingerie, this is an adorable springtime set. The corset is £34 and the thong is £8 (US readers, they ship to you too!)

Ruffly Buttress and Snatch

Speaking of frilly, Be Cheeky is also stocking a burlesque favourite of ours, Buttress & Snatch. If you like the frilly look but want something a touch more grown up, Buttress and Snatch’s heavenly creations are just the thing — even Bond Girl Eva Green donned them with very glamorous effects) Our favourite is the Tulle Ballerina set, a sheer-and-black concoction of tulle and ruffles. We have no idea how that will work under a tee-shirt, but we don’t really care. If you don’t either, the set is £135.

There are a lot more new labels to grab as well, most notably a diffusion collection from Frankly Darling, and also some more affordable lovelies from Mademoiselle. Be Cheeky are great at offering something in every price range, so you should definitely check out their new ranges for a springtime splurge. Enjoy!
