When we last wrote about the Ouvert Knicker, we mentioned it had been subject to some pretty bad designs over the years, with adult sites promoting some dodgy numbers that made us want to crawl into hibernation. Luckily, we’ve seen an increasing number of designers getting it right over the last few years, meaning the rest of us can safely play naughty without compromising on style. Having spotted Buzzfeed’s ‘Butt Cleavage Fashion’, it seems the cleavage south of the body is getting some attention; luckily it’s not the low-waist-jean-producing crack they’re talking about, it’s that sexy bit of the body revealed by the backless knicker..

If you’re not yet ready to go the whole way with this trend, take a look at these cute ‘backless’ knickers by St.Tropez Leisure. With a little more modesty than some, these are a tantalizing way of showing off those normally hidden parts; with the help of a see-through panel covering the cut out back of some gorgeous knickers, designed by former St.Martin’s College students Sarah Fung and Benna Harry, it’s a more subtle way of doing the ‘Bottom Cleavage’, but no less sexy!
