Beautiful bras for smaller cup sizes

March 3, 2010 by

Since the three women behind Knickers are all DD+ cup sizes, sometimes we’re guilty of focusing too much on finding gorgeous picks for larger-cupped ladies. Today though, we’re going to focus on the opposite end of the spectrum and feature picks for women sized AAA and onwards. Happy shopping, ladies!

Lula Lu’s Petites Range

Lula Lu Desiree
Smaller-cup specialist Lula Lu have always been known for their excellent selection of petite bras, and now they have a line of their own. Bored of the plain-jane smaller cup designs, their “Petities” line boasts bright colours, intricate embroidery, stunning bustiers and some lovely bra sets. The “Desiree” set (pictured above, $82) is our favourite, but if you’re looking for something more summery, have a look at the adorable pink and white polka-dot “Kaylen” ($76). Their signature range is relatively small, but has great variety and is a must-see for anyone in the AAA to A range. You can browse all of the Lula Lu’s range here.

The Little Bra Company’s “Lucia”

Little Bra Company - Lucia
A good cleavage bra is often the holy grail for smaller cup sizes — it’s valuable, yet almost impossible to find. The Little Bra Company’s “Lucia,” however, might be just the bra you’ve been questing for! It’s available in cup sizes A-B, comes in a wide range of colours, looks gorgeous, and creates some stunning cleavage. The straps are also convertible, so you can turn “Lucia” into a halterneck or racerback to suit your favourite little black dress. The bra is $58 at the designer’s site, and you’ll find a few more gorgeous lacy bras from The Little Bra Company as well.

Lovely post! I love all the UK sites that stock beautiful bras in my size (32AA). If only the US had more affordable options. Lula Lu, Itsy Bitsy Bra Bar and Itty Bitty Bra are great but I can't afford any of them. I often buy my AA cup bras from UK sellers on eBay. Guess I should have been born a Brit!

Love the post. As a 32AA-cup girl, it's long been a beef of mine that many of the styles available in my size are the plainest you can imagine. Black, white, nude. Simple T-shirt bras with no fashion styling. I started a blog for small-busted women, spurred by my quest to find lingerie & clothing that fits my body and looks good. I think the styles you've highlighted prove that small-busted women are no longer banished to an unfashionable lingerie wilderness. Thanks to the great brands you've featured, and a few others, for acknowledging that small-busted women deserve to be as fashionable, sexy and sophisticated as their curvy sisters.

What about a size like 28C? While it isn't called an 'A' cup, it is still small-breasted. I find that most of the places that focus on small busts focus just on sizes AA-A, but less so on sizes that aren't called an AA or A cup. The cups on a 28C bra are actually smaller than those on a 34A or 36A bra. I used to think I was a 32AA, but I'm actually a 28C. If I wore a 32A, the band would be too long, and so the cups would be pushed to far forward, causing the underwire to sit on the sides of my breasts, rather than around it, and then I'd have to keep pulling the cups back. I might check out the Little Bra Company. Their 30B's might fit me.
