Fairytale Lingerie With A Difference

There are a number of different versions of the classic Snow White story; the one that sticks in my mind is that of the oh-so beautiful and innocent Snow White who was adored by seven (little) men and married by a handsome prince. That ebony hair and snow-white skin together with blood-red lips is a look that is not unfamiliar with the lingerie world (think Dita von Teese and Chantal Thomass) only this time there’s a difference.

It comes as no surprise that having taken inspiration from the popular fairytale, the ever-diverse designer Kriss Soonik has given her version of the story a fabulous twist – this is the Snow White who may have been a kind princess rescued from the glass coffin, but she’s just discovered real life!

The new Kriss Soonik collection is divine – not only does it tick the fabulous and cute boxes, it’s up there with delicious and utterly sexy. The Susan Body (above) conjours up marvellously dangerous thoughts – whether it’s to be worn to host an elegant dinner party (as suggested by Glam Am) or as a boudoir piece for your handsome prince.

The rest of the hand-made collection is equally wonderful – it’s refreshing to see Kriss Soonik hasn’t lost her brilliant imagination that makes her label so unique and non-conforming. The collection may be inspired by a fictional character but the real-life fairytale is Kriss Soonik’s ability to produce lingerie that is inspirational and very much alive.
